Pictures from my 3 month trip with the VLCC (tanker) Ellen Maersk from March to June 2002. With
pictures from the Persian Gulf, the Mexican Gulf, France and again lots of pictures of the ship
and life on board.

From January 8 to April 7, 2004 I was embarked on the Maersk Assister. The ship was my first vessel
for the 2nd Period of Seagoing Service, and generally operated in the North Sea. Lots of pictures
of the ship and it's work.

After a short vacation I embarked the Lexa Maersk on April 22. The ship took me over the Atlantic
Ocean no less than 6 times on its route between Europe and South America. I disembarked August 27
after 4 great months of experiences and adventures. Mostly pictures of the ship.

My trip onboard the Svend Maersk from September 10 to December 14, 2004 was my final assignment
as a cadet. After the three months onboard I disembarked for one final year of schooling. This
gallery includes pictures of the hull, cargo holds and outside of the accommodation.

January 2006 I embarked the Leda Maersk as a newly graduated Dual Purpose Maritime Officer. The
ship is a sister vessel to the Lexa Maersk which I sailed with as a Cadet, and was employed on a
similar route between Europe and South America. I disembarked April 14, 2006.

Second trip after graduation was onboard the Laura Maersk, a sister vessel to the Leda and Lexa and also in
trade between Europe and South America. In this gallery we have a look around the engine room, in addition to
exterior shots of the ship.

For my third trip as an officer I was assigned to the Albert Maersk, a vessel larger than the
L-class vessels I had worked on previously. I signed on November 2006 and spent Christmas and
New Year onboard before returning home late January 2007. The ship was in a route between Europe
and the Far East (China, Korea).

During my summer break from school in 2008 (I was studying for my Senior Officer competencies at the time)
I joined the Soroe Maersk for 6 weeks as en engineer. Soroe Maersk is a sister vessel to my very first
ship, the Clifford Maersk, and was in a route between Europe via the Far East to Los Angeles, USA. This

Summer break 2009 also saw me going back to sea. I joined the A-class container vessel Axel Maersk as a
Designated Training Officer, responsible for the training of the 6 onboard cadets. Axel Maersk is also in
a route between Europe and the Far East. This gallery includes pictures from harbour operations as well
as interior shots from the accommodation and navigational bridge.

Having completed my Dual Senior Officer Exam in October 2009, it was time to go back to sea, my first ship being the Lars Maersk, a
4000+ TEU container vessel operating on a route from Northern Europe via Las Palmas to South Africa, calling Cape Town, Durban
and Port Elizabeth. I spent 11 great weeks onboard as a Dual Purpose Maritime Officer, alternating between the bridge and engine room.

Having transferred to Maersk Supply Service in early 2010, i worked for one year as a 3rd Engineer on board the only 6 months old
